Besides, some new brands like Fitbit and Jawbone that have set shop in India. However, this year we got affordable wearable brands such as Xiaomi MiFit and even Micromax with its YuFit trying to provide offer at the same price. Though there are Lots of brands, there are not yet available in India and there are also few that are not launching their devices in India at par with the international markets. LG Watch Urbane
When LG Watch Urbane came into smartwatch arena, it could not be disagrreed by the folks as it was good looking wearable. Also, it is a good fitness watch once paired with Google Fit, Strava, and Runtastic along with a heart rate monitor and barometer built in but there is no GPS
Jawbone entered Indian market in partnership with Amazon India and then launched its wearable bands here. It tracks your activities like sleep, monitors heart rate, and offers a healthier future for yourself. So, if you are looking for fashionable wearable then it suits you.
This device is meant mainly for those who are enthusiast about fitness and it works well accordingly. It comes with in-built GPS and helps in monitoring heart rate, sleep and other exercises that you perform. Coming to battery life, on a single charge, it withstands for a day. One limitation is its not waterproof.
Xiaomi Mi Fit
In 2015, Xiaomi came up with the launch of its new wearable band at Rs 999 and it features heart rate, step counts, sleep and so on. In addition, this wearable is waterproof and soundproof and battery life goes on for a month on single charge.
But the only limitation with this wearable is the absence of display screen and hence data has to be collected on the connected smartphone. However, Xiaomi has now come up with a launch of an upgraded version of the band, Xiaomi Mi Band Pulse in China market. Hope that Xiaomi will be launching this product in India and other parts of the world as soon.
Apple entered the smartwatch arena with an elan. This watch is notable for its light weight and provides classy look any wrist and even offers you to customize the apps as per your requirements. However, this fitness tracker works better with watchOS2 but you need to take your iPhone wherever you go for GPS tracking. You can even send emails, texts and in addition, Siri’s abilities also been expanded.
The Moto 360 (2nd Gen)
The first iteration of Moto 360 had a swooning and even the upgrade seems to have a same impact. But in upgraded version the resolution has been boosted from the original at 233 pixels per inch on the 46mm version and 263ppi on the 42mm, “for women” incarnation. However, compared to Apple Watch and LG Watch Urbane, this watch is easier on pocket.
